Pursuit 92 Blue - Division I

Fall 2006--92 Blue will be playing their second year at Division One. Fourteen girls return from last year's team that finished at the top of the D1 competitive bracket with a 6-3-1 record in the fall. In the spring they advanced to the finals of Presidents Cup play finishing in a 3-way tie for 1st, but falling one goal short of advancing to the state playoffs. The 92 Blue won the Austin Labor Day Cup - Silver Division for the 2nd time in 3 years and hope to repeat again this year as they move to the Gold Division. 92 Blue is coached by Floyd Blackwell withDon McGlamery as assistant.

U12

Pursuit 92 Blue team

The “Pursuit 92 Blue” soccer team took 2nd place at state in the U12 Super 2 division. The state playoffs were held December 13th & 14th in San Antonio at Retama Park.  The “92 Blue” finished their regular fall season undefeated with an 8-0-2 record claiming the U12 Eastern District Super 2 Championship. They defeated every team at least once finishing with 21 goals scored and conceding only 1 in the process. 

U11

The Blue Blaze started off their 2002 inaugural season with a bang as they become only the third team in Pursuit history to qualify for Super Blue in the U11 age bracket. They played in the Super Qualifying Tournament on August 3rd and 4th, in North Channel and took home a second place finish.

The Blaze traveled to Austin for the 2002 Labor Day weekend and came home with the gold as they  won the U11 Girls Competitive bracket of the Austin Labor Day Cup. The Blue Blaze won all 5 of it's games in the 12 team bracket, shutting out it's opponents and outscoring them 13-0. The Blaze finished with two 1-0 nail bitters, defeating Austin ’s Division I, CCU Eagles 92 White in the semi-finals and Kingwood’s Super II, Texas Wave Green in the finals.
The Blaze took their second tournament win for the 2002/2003 season in 2003 Sylvan Beach Tournament in La Porte.  After winning its bracket, the Blaze won their semi-final game 1-0. In the finals, they went down 2-0 with 15 minutes to play in the game. At the 8 minute mark, the Blaze scored their 1st goal and with 2 minutes left they tied it up. In the second overtime, the Blaze scored the GOLDEN GOAL to take home the championship trophy.
