BIO:

Scott Tucker, Pursuits Director of Training, enters his 4th year overall and his 2nd year as Director of Training. Scott has served as an educator and Head Coach at the High School level for the past 9 years, all at the 5A level. In addition to his Director of Club duties, Scott presently trains the 94 White and 95 Blue teams for Pursuit, and is the PE/Health Department Chair and Head Men's Soccer Coach for the Langham Creek High School Men's Soccer Program in Cy-Fair ISD which competes in District 15-5A. Tucker is a 2-time Coach of the year selection, 2004, 2007, and has finished as Runner-Up for Coach of the Year 3-times in 9 years at the High School level. He was selected as the TASCO Region III Coach in 2007 and was a 2007 finalist for TASCO State Coach of the Year for Region III, and was a nominee for NSCAA State and Regional Coach of the Year. Under his guidance, the Lobo Men’s Varsity has compiled a 87-48-30 record, have finished with winning seasons in six of the last seven seasons and have appeared in the National/State/Local rankings 24 times. Tucker’s players have been recognized with 58 All-District selections, 11 TASCO All-Region Selections, 12 TASCO Academic All-State Selections, 6 TASCO Senior Showcase Representatives, 2 Adidas/Houston Dynamo Elite XI Selections, 3 Adidas/NSCAA All-Region/All-American Selections, and 11 NSCAA/Adidas All-Region/All-American Nominees. Over this period, the Lobos have had players advance to play collegiate soccer in each of his previous 7 seasons. 

Scott is a member of the South Texas Youth Soccer Coaching Education Staff and also is involved in the Houston Dynamo Player Development System as Trainer and Site Coordinator for the West Houston Center of Excellence. Tucker currently holds a USSF National License, NSCAA National Youth Diploma, USYSA National Youth License, NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma, NSCAA Regional Goalkeeping Diploma, NSCAA State Goalkeeping Diploma, NSCAA Regional and Advanced Regional Diplomas, and the English FA Psychology Level I Certification.  He is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, US Soccer Federation, Texas Association of Soccer Coaches, and the Texas High School Coaches Association.  

Tucker is a 2000 graduate of the University of Texas, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Double Minor in Philosophy and Natural Science, and has obtained graduate coursework credit from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Scott grew up in the North Texas Area, where he played club ball for the Texas Strikers, FW United, and Longhorns SC, as well as playing High School Soccer for Richland High School.  He is married to Brooke and they have 2 children, a son - 13 and daughter - 5.
