"Alumni News 2005-2006"

Former Blue Bandits Kristen Schaffer and Casey Grier both ended their freshmen seasons with special recognition. Kristen, who started every game on defense for the LSU-Shreveport Pilots, was named to the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference All-Conference Second Team. Kristen's outstanding defensive play helped the Pilots to the NAIA Regional playoffs in the program's inaugural year. Casey followed suit, being named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Conference Second Team. Casey led the Southwestern University Pirates in scoring with 15 total points, notching four goals and seven assists for the season. Congratulations to both of our Pursuit stars!
